About Vernon Towne Theatre

The Vernon Towne Theatre is a cherished historic venue originally opened in 1929 as a dance hall and converted to a cinema in 1938. Today it’s operated by the Okanagan Screen Arts Society and hosts a diverse mix of films, live performances, special-event screenings and community gatherings, all within its Art Deco architecture.
