About The Astor Theatre

The Astor Theatre (Astor Theatre & Arts Centre) in Liverpool, NS, is Nova Scotia’s oldest continuously operating performance venue. Built in 1902 as part of the town hall, it now hosts live music, theatre, film, and community events in a beautifully restored heritage space — complete with high rounded ceilings, plaster walls, and excellent acoustics.
