About George Layh Theatre

Located in the heart of Langenburg, Saskatchewan, the George Layh Theatre is a vibrant 228-seat performing arts and movie venue managed by the Langenburg Arts Council. Thanks to a generous donation from George Layh, the community revitalized this historic theatre, blending classic charm with modern features like updated projection. It hosts a variety of events — from “Stars for Saskatchewan” concerts and drama productions to 3–4 films per month, art workshops, and exhibitions. The venue is available for rentals, making it a cultural hub for performances, local events, and rentals.
